Scheduling an Appointment
Therapy during the COVID-19
In response to the public health crisis, I have moved my practice online and seeing clients via secure video link (an easy-to-use, HIPAA-compliant platform through Simple Practice). Most commercial health insurers are covering psychotherapy done in this way.
Appointments can be scheduled Tuesday through Thursday, late afternoons and evenings. Friday and Saturday morning appointment times may also available. I encourage you to call me so we can discuss first if my services are the best fit for your needs; however, the above link may be used to view my current availability and directly schedule an appointment.
I only belong to a few insurance panels, but most plans do offer out of network coverage. I can provide you with a bill including the necessary information to seek reimbursement. My services might be covered in full or in part by your insurance or employee benefit plan. If you have any questions about whether your plan covers my services, it may help to call your health insurance's member services and ask the following questions: Do I have "out-of-network" benefits for psychotherapy? What is my "out-of-network" deductible and has this deducible been met? What is the coverage amount per therapy session? Is approval required from my primary care physician? -Does my insurance have out-of-network benefits?
My fee is $75 for both individual and couples therapy; payments are made by credit cards.
Length of Sessions
Individual Sessions are typically 50-minutes.
What to expect
During an initial consultation, I try to understand more about what brings you to therapy. I will share my understanding of what may help alleviate your distress, and we will discuss how best to move forward. If you feel that I am a good "fit" as a therapist, we will begin our work together.
